NOTIFICATION

Shimla-2, the 7 January, 2015

No. UD-A(3)-7/2013.—Whereas a proposal for declaration of Nagar Panchayat at

Nerchowk, District Mandi notified vide this Department’s Notification No. UD-A(3)-7/2013, dated

4.6.2014 was published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on 7.6.2014 for inviting

objections/suggestions from the affected persons through the Deputy Commissioner, Mandi, within

six weeks ;

And whereas the objections/suggestions received from the inhabitants of Gram Panchayats

Nerchowk, District Mandi within the prescribed time limit were considered and decided by the

Government ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Himachal Pradesh

Municipal Act, 1994 (Act No. 13 of 1994), the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare

the areas of Nerchowk, specified in the schedule enclosed, as Nagar Panchayat, Nerchowk, District

Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
