Shimla-2, the 27th June, 2015
No: TCP-F(5)-1/2009-I.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the
Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 1977(Act No. 12 of 1977), the Governor of
Himachal Pradesh is pleased to make following amendment in the Development Plan for Kasauli
Planning Area notified vide Notification No. TCP-F(5)-1/2009 dated 22.10.2009 and published in
the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on 10.11.2009, namely:—
Amendment of Chapter 17
In Chapter 17 of the Development Plan for Kasauli Planning Area, after regulation
17.1.6.35, the following regulation shall be inserted, namely:—
“17.1.6.36. In the public interest and in the interest of town design or any other material
consideration, the Director may relax minimum size/area of plot, plot coverage, set
backs, number of storeys, height and Floor Area Ratio (FAR) etc. The decision of the
Director, Town and Country Planning shall be final.”.
