the post of Superintendent Grade-I Class-I (Gazetted), Ministerial Service, in the Public Works

Short title and Commencement.—(i) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh Public Works Department Superintendent Grade-I, Class-I, (Gazetted), Ministerial Service,
Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2015.
(ii) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajpatra,
Himachal Pradesh.

2.
Repeal and Savings.—(i) The Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department,
Superintendent Gr.-I, (Class-II Gazetted) Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 1996 notified vide
Notification No. PW-A-B(13)- 43/94, dated 28.2.1997 to the extent these are applicable to the posts
of Superintendent Gr.-I in the Public Works Department are hereby repealed.
(ii) Notwithstanding such repeal, any appointment made or anything done or any action
taken under the rules, so repealed under sub rule 2(i) supra shall be deemed to have been validity
made, done or taken under these rules.

Service Commission, is pleased to make the following Rules, further to amend the Himachal
Pradesh, Higher Education Department, Post Graduate Teachers, Class-III (Non Gazetted)
Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2010 notified vide Notification No. EDN-A-Kha (3)3/98-Part-I
dated 20-09-2010, namely:—

Short Title And Commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh Higher Education Department, Post Graduate Teachers Class-III (Non Gazetted)
Recruitment and Promotion (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2015.

These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajpatra,
Himachal Pradesh.

Amendment of Annexure “A” ''B".—In Annexure “A” & "B" to the Himachal
Pradesh, Higher Education Department, Post Graduate Teacher, Class- III (Non Gazetted)
Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2010:-
For the existing provision against Col. No. 15-A(VII) (C) of Annexure "A" and Sr. No. 4 of
Annexure "B' the following shall be substituted, namely.
“Contractual appointee will be entitled for one day causal leave after putting one month
service. However, the Contract employee will also be entitled for 135 days maternity leave
and 10 days medical leave, and 5 days special leave. He/she shall not be entitled for
Medical Reimbursement and L.T.C etc. No. leave of any other kind except above is
admissible to the contract appointee."
Provided that the un-availed Casual Leave and medical Leave, and special leave can be
accumulated up to the Calendar Year and will not be carried forward for the next Calendar Year.
