No. GAD-D-7(G)1-12/81-III.—In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 45 of the
Fundamental Rules, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to make the following rules further
to amend the Himachal Pradesh Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool) Rules, 1994,
notified vide this Department’s notification No.GAD-7(G)1-12/81, dated the Ist June,1994 and
published in the Rajpatra,Himachal Pradesh (Extra Ordinary) on 18th July,1994, namely:--
1.
Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool) 10th Amendment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette (e-
Gazette), Himachal Pradesh.
2. Amendment of rule-8.— In rule 8 of the Himachal Pradesh Allotment of Government
Residences (General Pool) Rules, 1994, in sub-rule (9)(iii), in second proviso, for the figures “20”,
the figures, “25” shall be substituted.

the opinion that it is necessary to do so that a new Sub-Tehsil Bhawarna in District Kangra may be
created consisting of the Patwar Circles shown in column 6, below to provide better services to the
concerned people of nearby villages and to avoid inconvenience faced by them and to have the
better administrative control.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Himachal Pradesh
Land Revenue Act, 1954 (Act No. 6 of 1954) and section 5 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act No.
16 of 1908), the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to create a new Sub-Tehsil at Bhawarna

respectively, alongwith additional amount of Rs. 1500/- per month for defraying the telephone
expenses.
This would be admissible with effect from 01st July, 2016.
