No. LLR-E(9)-6/2014-Leg.—WHEREAS, Shri Hari Dass Tanwar, Advocate was

appointed as Public Notary vide Government Notification No.LLR-E(9)-7/2000-Leg. dated

23-07-2004 and authorised to practice as such within the territorial limits of Tehsil Kasauli, District

Solan and his name was entered at serial No.201 in the Register of Notaries;

AND WHEREAS, as per orders passed by the LR-cum-Principal Secretary (Law) on

27-10-2016 on the basis of judgment passed by the Hon’ble High Court in Cr. Appeal No.445 of

2009 on 20-05-2016, vide which Shri Hari Dass Tanwar, Advocate and Public Notary Kasauli has

been convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three years and to

pay a fine of Rs. 50,000/- for offence u/s 307 IPC and further sentenced to undergo simple

imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of Rs. 20,000/- u/s 324 IPC, it is considered necessary

to take further action for removal of his name from the Register of Notaries as required under

section 10(e) of the Notaries Act, 1952;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in exercise of powers conferred by

section 10(e) of the Notaries Act, 1952 read with rule 13(13) of the Notaries Rules, 1956, hereby

order removal of the name of Shri Hari Dass Tanwar, Notary Public, Tehsil Kasauli, District Solan

from the Register of Notaries with immediate effect.
