HORTICULTURE AND FORESTRY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2015
(AS ASSENTED TO BY THE GOVERNOR ON 3

ACT
further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and
Forestry Act, 1986 (Act No. 4 of 1987).
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty-sixth Year of
the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Universities of
Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (Amendment) Act, 2015.
2. Amendment of section 44.—In section 44 of the Himachal Pradesh Universities of
Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986, for sub-section (4), the following sub-section
shall be substituted, namely:—
“(4) The State Government may, subject to such terms and conditions as may be
fixed, make such grants to the University every year, as approved by the State
Legislature in the State budget for that year for the University. ”.

Whereas, Shri Krishan Kumar s/o Shri Lekh Ram, r/o Village Jobi, P.O. Kohu, Tehsil
Nalagarh, District Solan (HP) and Smt. Nisha Devi d/o Shri Roshan Lal & w/o Shri Krishan
Kumar, r/o Village Jobi, P.O. Kohu, Tehsil Nalagarh, District Solan (HP) have moved an
application u/s 15 of Special Marriage Act, 1954 for registration of their marriage that was
solemnized on 11-10-2016 with Hindu rites.
And whereas both these applicants have submitted in their application and their affidavits
that they were unmarried at the time of solemnized of their marriage, and were major in age having
no prohibited relations to each other debarring themselves to marry each other. Both the applicants
have requested for registration of their marriage.
Therefore, by this notice, the public in General is informed that if any one has any objection
regarding registration of this marriage, he may present before this court on or before 05-12-2016
for hearing of objections if any. In case no objection is received by dated 05-12-2016, it will be
perused that there is no objection in the registration of the above said marriage and the same will be
registered on the said date.
