No. HHC/Rules/14-61/90-V.—In exercise of the powers vested under Article 229(2) of
the Constitution of India and all other enabling provisions in this behalf, Hon’ble the Chief Justice
of High Court of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to make following amendments in The Himachal
Pradesh High Court Officers and the Members of Staff (Recruitment, Promotion, Conditions of
Service, Conduct and Appeal), Rules 2015.

These Rules shall be called The Himachal Pradesh High Court
Officers and the Members of Staff (Recruitment, Promotion,
Conditions of Service, Conduct and Appeal)(3rd Amendment-
2016),Rules 2015.
Commencement

These Rules shall come into force on the date of publication.
(i)
In Schedule-II, after the existing Serial No.8, the following Serial No.
8-A with corresponding entries in various columns, shall be added.

In Schedule-II, Serial No.13, column No. 3, the existing figure “14” and
the words (One post kept in abeyance on creation of DR cum-Spl. Secy.
to HCJ), shall stand deleted and substituted by figure-“15” and Figure-
“541”, of total posts mentioned in the end of Schedule-II shall be
replaced by figure-“542”.
(iv)
In Schedule-III, Part-A, Class-1 (Gazetted), Column No. 4, of Serial
No.1, Registrar (Establishment), after the existing words “Additional
Registrars”, the words “and Principal Private Secretary to Hon’ble the
Chief Justice” shall be added.
After amendment Column No. 4 shall read as under:--
“By selection from amongst the Additional Registrars and
Principal Private Secretary to Hon’ble the Chief Justice”.
(v)
In Schedule-III, Part-A, Class-1 (Gazetted), after the existing Serial
No.2, the following new Serial No. 3 with the corresponding entries
shall be added, whereas the existing Serial No.3 with amendments shall
be renumbered as Serial No. 4.
