and Promotion Rules, 2008 notified vide this Department Notification No. 1-58/69-Fin(LA), dated
27-10-2008, namely:—

Short title and Commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh Local Audit Department, Additional Director, Class-I (Gazetted) Recruitment and
Promotion (First Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajparta,
Himachal Pradesh.
Amendment of the column 4 of Annexure-“A”.—In Annexure-“A” to the Himachal
Pradesh Local Audit Department, Additional Director, Class-I (Gazetted) Recruitment and
Promotion Rules, 2008 :
For the existing provisions against column No 4, the following shall be substituted,
namely:—

Direct Recruitment:
(a) Two years subject to such further extension for a period not exceeding one year as
may be ordered by the competent authority in special circumstances and reasons to
be recorded in writing.
(b) No probation in case of appointment on contract basis, tenure basis, re-employment
after superannuation and absorption.
(ii) Promotion:
(a) No probation in case of promotion.
