Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No.12 of 2005), the Governor of Himachal
Pradesh, proposes to amend Schedule-'B' appended to the said Act;
If any interested person likely to be affected by the proposed amendment has any
objection(s) or suggestion(s), he may send the same to the Excise and Taxation Commissioner,
Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-171009 within a period of 10 days from the date of publication of this
Notification in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh;
Objection(s)/suggestion(s), if any, received within the above stipulated period shall be taken
into consideration by the Government before finalizing the same.

In Schedule-'B' appended to the Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, after the
existing item No.47, a new item No. 47- A shall be inserted , namely:—

Notification, whichever is earlier;
(iii) the unit (registered dealer) shall
comply with all the provisions of the
Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax
Act, 2005, the Central Sales Tax
Act, 1956 and the rules made
thereunder and also the Notification
issued thereunder;
(iv) if any false declaration is given for
the purpose of availing incentives or
if the unit is found not eligible, the
amount of incentives, so availed,
shall be recovered alongwith interest
and penalty;
(v) the goods should not only be
manufactured but also sold by the
dealers (manufacturers) themselves
and it shall not be open for finished
goods purchased or acquired by
concerned industrial units for re-sale
in Himachal Pradesh;
(vi) the Unit has obtained the eligibility
certificate from the Department of
Industries; and
(vii) these incentives shall be recast after
coming into force of GST.".
