No. Home-(A)B(1)-26/2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause(s) of section 2

of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Himachal

Pradesh Police Act, 2007 (Act No. 17 of 2007), the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in consultation

with Director General of Police, is pleased to transfer the villages as enumerated in Column No. 3

No.TSM-B(2)-1/2014.—On the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee

meeting held on 2.05.2017 and with the approval of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission,

the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order the promotion of Shri Kanchan Bedi, Tourist

Information Officer (Class-III Non-Gazetted) to the post of Assistant Tourism Development

Officer (Class-II Gazetted) in the pay band of Rs. 10300-34800 + Rs. 4200/- Grade Pay, in the

Department of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh, on regular basis with immediate

effect.

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to order the posting of Shri Kanchan

Bedi, Assistant Tourism Development Officer, (Class-II Gazetted) in the Office of Deputy

Director, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Kangra at Dharamshala.

The above officer is directed to join his duties at the place of his posting and send

compliance report to this Department.

The above Officer shall remain on probation for a period of two years or till his retirement,

whichever is earlier, in the first instance from the date of his promotion. He shall also exercise

option for fixation of pay under the provisions of FR-22, within a period of one month from the

date of issue of this order.

No. SEC-16-29/2000-I- 923.—Whereas the programme for the conduct of Elections to the

Municipal Corporation Shimla has been announced by this Commission;

And whereas it is desirable and considered appropriate and necessary in the interest of free,

fair, smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections to enforce a Model Code of Conduct;

Now, therefore, the State Election Commission in exercise of powers vested in it under

Article 243 ZA of the Constitution of India and Section 9 (1) of the Himachal Pradesh Municipal

Corporation Act, 1994, hereby directs that the Model Code of Conduct already notified vide

notification No. SEC.16-29/2001-3364 dated 6th Oct, 2015, shall come into force in the territorial

jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation Shimla w.e.f. today the 29th May 2017 till the election

process is completed.
