Himachal Pradesh, Public Service Commission, is pleased to make the Recruitment and Promotion
Rule for the post of Patwari, Class-Ill (Non-Gazetted) in the Himachal Pradesh, Relief &
Rehabilitation Department as per Annexure- "A" attached to this notification, namely:—

Short title and Commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh, Relief & Rehabilitation Department, Patwari, Class-III (Non-Gazetted) Recruitment and
Promotion Rules, 2017.
(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajpatra,
Himachal Pradesh.

on secondment.

promotional secondment/transfer is to be made.—(i) On secondment basis from the amongst the
Patwaris of Mohal/Settlement/Consolidation of Holdings under Revenue Department working in
the identical pay scale and possessing five years regular service.
(ii) Notwithstanding any contained in Column No. 10 supra, the incumbent already
appointed on secondment basis shall be given an option or his absorption in the Department of
Relief and Rehabilation Himachal Pradesh, subject to the satisfaction of the appointing authority
and, the incumbent if opts for absorption shall from the initial cadre of the post of Patwari and
thereafter the method of recruitment shall be restored to as prescribed in the Column No. 10 above.

applicable.
13. Circumstances under which the H.P.P.S.C. is to be consulted in making
recruitments.—As required under the law.
14. Essential requirement for a direct recruitment.—Not applicable
