Whereas, the Election Commission has already announced the schedule for General
Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat as per the schedule
announced and Notification for the General Election to the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly

Assembly are scheduled to be issued on 16-11-2017 and 20-11-2017; and
2. Whereas, as per the provisions of Section 126A of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951, there shall be restrictions on conduct of any exit poll and publication and dissemination
of result of such exit poll during such period, as may be notified by the Election Commission in this
regard; and
3. Whereas, counting of votes for the said General Elections to Legislative Assemblies of
Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat is scheduled to be taken up to 18-12-2017;
4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 126A of the
Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission, having regard to the provisions
of sub-section (2) of the said Section, hereby notifies the period between 8.00 A.M. on 09-11-2017
(Thursday) and upto 6.00 P.M. on 14-12-2017 (Thursday) as the period during which conducting
any Exit Poll and publishing or publicizing by means of the print or electronic media or
dissemination in any other manner, whatsoever, the result of any exit poll in connection with the
current General Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, shall be
prohibited.
5. It is further clarified that under Section 126(1)(b) of the R.P. Act, 1951, displaying any
election matter, including results of any Opinion Poll or any other poll survey, in any electronic
media, would be prohibited during the period of 48 hour ending with the hours fixed for conclusion
of poll in connection with the aforesaid General election.

No.TCP-F(5)-8/2017.—WHEREAS, the draft Development Plan for Amb-Gagret Planning
Area was published by the Director, Town and Country Planning Department, Himachal Pradesh,
Shimla under sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1977 (Act No.
12 of 1977) vide Notice No. HIM/TP/PJT/P.A.-Amb-Gagret/2011/Vol-I/3321-31 dated 20.07.2017
published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on 25.07.2017 for inviting objection(s) and
suggestion(s) but no objection or suggestion was received within the stipulated period and the
Development Plan was submitted to the Government for approval.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers vested under sub-section (1) of section 20 of
the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 1977 (Act No.12 of 1977), the Governor,
Himachal Pradesh is pleased to approve the Development Plan for Amb-Gagret Planning Area,
without modifications and the same is hereby published in the Official Gazette (e- Gazette) of
Himachal Pradesh as required under sub-section (4) of section 20 of the Act ibid. A Notice is
hereby given that a copy of the said Development Plan is available for inspection during office

Area was published by the Director, Town and Country Planning Department, Himachal Pradesh,
Shimla under sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1977 (Act No.
12 of 1977) vide Notice No. HIM/TP/PJT/P.A.-Ghumarwin/2004/Vol-III/3282-3300 dated
20.07.2017 published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on 25.07.2017 for inviting objection(s)
and suggestion(s) but no objection or suggestion was received within the stipulated period and the
Development Plan was submitted to the Government for approval.
