Shimla -2, the 7th December, 2017
Notification No.FFE-B-F(14)-28/2014.—Whereas the nature and extent of the rights of the
Government and of private persons in or over the Forest Land/Waste Land specified in the schedule
inserted to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded as required under Sub-Section (3)
of Section-29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927);

And whereas the Forest Land/Waste Land shown in the said schedule is the property of the
Government or over which the Government has proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to
the whole or any part of the Forest Produce therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 29 of the
Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the provisions of Chapter-IV of
the Act shall apply to the said Forest Land/Waste Land and shall hereafter be called as “Protected
Forests” under the provisions of Sub-Section (2) of Section-29 of the Act ibid.

NOTIFICATION
Shimla -2, the 7th December, 2017
Notification No.FFE-B-F(14)-32/2014.—Whereas the nature and extent of the rights of the
Government and of private persons in or over the Forest Land/Waste Land specified in the schedule
inserted to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded as required under Sub-Section (3)
of Section-29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927);
And whereas the Forest Land/Waste Land shown in the said schedule is the property of the
Government or over which the Government has proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to
the whole or any part of the Forest Produce therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 29 of the
Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the provisions of Chapter-IV of
the Act shall apply to the said Forest Land/Waste Land and shall hereafter be called as “Protected
Forests” under the provisions of Sub-Section (2) of Section-29 of the Act ibid.

NOTIFICATION
Shimla -2, the 7th December, 2017
Notification No.FFE-B-F(14)-37/2014.—Whereas the nature and extent of the rights of the
Government and of private persons in or over the Forest Land/Waste Land specified in the schedule
inserted to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded as required under Sub-Section (3)
of Section-29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927);
And whereas the Forest Land/Waste Land shown in the said schedule is the property of the
Government or over which the Government has proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to
the whole or any part of the Forest Produce therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- Section (1) of Section 29 of the
Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the provisions of Chapter-IV of
the Act shall apply to the said Forest Land/Waste Land and shall hereafter be called as “Protected
Forests” under the provisions of Sub-Section (2) of Section-29 of the Act ibid.

WHEREAS, a case for the violation of section 118 of Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land
Reforms Act, 1972 has been instituted against M/s Luxury Hotels & Motels Pvt. through its
Managing Director, i.e. Respondent No.1, & Sh. Vinod Kumar Garg, through its Managing
Director, M/s Luxury Hotels & Motels Pvt. through its Managing Director, i.e. Respondent No. 2,
both the resident of Village Parotha, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan in respect of land comprised
in Khasra No. 617/540, 618/540, 619/540, 620/540, and 621/540 Kita-5 measuring 0-42-81 hectare
situated in Mauja Anji, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
In view of this the summons were sent to the Respondents on the address mentioned above
and served through Sh. Sandeep Kumar, Revenue Chowkidar, Patwar Circle Manjhol, Tehsil
Kandaghat, District Solan to present Office Manager, “Zurich Resort” Sh. Khem Raj, but both the
Respondents did not appear before this court on the date of hearing i.e. 02-12-2017 after effected
service.
NOW THEREFORE, this publication under Order 5 Rule 20 of CPC is hereby issued to
M/s Luxury Hotels & Motels Pvt. through its Managing Director, i.e. Respondent No. 1, &
Sh. Vinod Kumar Garg, through its Managing Director, M/s Luxury Hotels & Motels Pvt. through
its Managing Director, i.e. Respondent No. 2, both residents of Village Parotha, Tehsil Kandaghat,
District Solan, H. P. mentioned above who are informed through this Notice that they should
appear in this court on 11-01-2018 at 2:00 PM personally or through counsel failing which the ex-
