No. Rev-D(F)4-6/2020-MND.—WHEREAS, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is of the
opinion that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest to create a new Sub-Tehsil Bagshad
in District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, so as to provide better services to the people of nearby
villages and also to avoid any inconvenience being faced by them and to have a better
administrative control.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Himachal
Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1954 (Act No. 6 of 1954) and section 5 of the Registration Act, 1908
(Act No. 16 of 1908), the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to create a new Sub-Tehsil

To study the current approaches to double farmers’ income in the State and to suggest
improvement by way of new schemes.
3.
To suggest mechanism to forge and strengthen market linkages for improving price
realization for produce of the farmers.
4.
To suggest strategy to make productive use of fallow land (both government and
private) for the benefit of farmers.
5.
To suggest mechanism to address the problems of abandoned cattle and menace of
monkeys and other wild animals.
6.
The Expert Group will suggest strategy to address to concerns of the small and
marginal farmers through natural farming.
7.
The Expert Group will submit its report within six months.
