Sealed tenders affixed with revenue stamps of ` 6/- F. O. R.

Government Press Stores, Srinagar, on the prescribed Tender Form

are invited from reputed suppliers, vendors of Press materials as well as

registered firms and manufacturers for the supply of Press

material items annexured to this NIT for the year 2015-16. The

tenders shall be addressed to General Manager, Government Press,

Srinagar through registered post or shall be delivered personally by

or before 29-06-2015 up to 1.00 P. M. The tenders are likely to be

opened on the same day at 2.30 P. M. by the Unit Purchase Committee

in presence of the tenderers who may like to be present on the

occasion. Tenders received after the prescribed time and date will be

rejected. However, in case the last date of receipt of tenders happens

to be a holiday or offices remain closed due to some unavoidable

circumstances, the tenders shall be received and opened at the same

time on the next working day and will be deemed to have been

extended to that date. The tenders should be accompanied with earnest

money in the shape of CDR/FDR pledged to the General Manager,

Government Press, Srinagar of ` 1000/– or equivalent to 2% of the

Government hereby appoint Shri Mohammad Mumtaz Ali (KAS),

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, to be the Executive Magistrate

of the First Class who shall exercise all the powers of an Executive

Magistrate of the First Class within his territorial jurisdiction of District

Rajouri.

The Government further in exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-section (2) of section 10 of the said code appoint the aforesaid Executive

Magistrate as Additional District Magistrate within his territorial jurisdiction

of District Rajouri and shall have all the powers of District Magistrate

under the said code.

SRO-162.––In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2)

of section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Entry Tax on Goods Act, 2000

(Act No. IV of 2000), the Government hereby exempt from payment of

entry tax, leviable under the said Act, forty six items shown in “Annexure”

to this notification to be imported into the State by Norway India Partnership

Initiative and Public Health Foundation of India, New Delhi free of cost

for implementation of Swasthya Slate Project in high priority districts of the

State. Provided that Director, NHM shall furnish a certificate to the effect

that the items are meant for the aforesaid purpose only.
