Memo No.- 08/Vividh (01)- 176/2015- 5890-- Whereas the Governor of Jharkhand
considers it necessary and expedient that for the maintenance of the public order and for
prevention or preventing or suppressing subversive acts, special precautions should be taken to
prevent the entry of unauthorized persons into the places described.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section-3 (1) of the Bihar
Protected Place Act, 1979 (read with Jharkhand), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to
declare the highly sensitive places under Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited sitiated
at Burma Mines, Jamshedpur Depot, Ward No-13, Plot No-1264, Khata No-1, Dist.-East
Singhbhoom, Jamshedpur, Total-1.421 Acres to be protected places for purposes of
the said Act .
