NOTIFICATION

8^th February, 2019

S.O. No. 20 Dated.- 8^th February, 2019-- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 3,

4 and 5 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Act 12 of 2017), the Governor of

Jharkhand is pleased to make the following amendments in the Departmental Notification No.

S.O.-143 dated 5^th December, 2017:-

1.

Serial No. 2 of the said notification shall be substituted in the following manner –

“The Headquarter Bureau of Investigation will discharge the duties assigned by

the Commissioner of State Tax as provided under Sections 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73,

74, 122, 125, 129, 130 and 151 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

and relevant Rules of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017.”

2.

Serial No. 3 of the said notification shall be substituted in the following manner –

“The Divisional Bureau of Investigation will discharge the duties assigned by

the Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Administration) as provided under Sections 67,

68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 122, 125, 129, 130 and 151 of the Jharkhand Goods and

Services Tax Act, 2017 and relevant Rules of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax

Rules, 2017.”

3.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from 5^th December, 2017.
