Notification No. 8/2020 – State Tax

S.O. No. 32 Dated. 25.06.2020.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the

Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the

recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Jharkhand

Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment)

Rules, 2020.

(2) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, they shall be deemed to be effective from the

2^nd March, 2020.

2. In the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, with effect from the 1^st March, 2020, in rule

31A, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-

“(2) The value of supply of lottery shall be deemed to be 100/128 of the face value of ticket or of the

price as notified in the Official Gazette by the Organising State, whichever is higher.

Explanation:– For the purposes of this sub-rule, the expression “Organising State” has the same

meaning as assigned to it in clause (f) of sub-rule (1) of rule 2 of the Lotteries (Regulation)

Rules, 2010.”.

2017 (2017 का 12) क धारा 164 वारा !द#त शि' तय( का !योग करते हुए, प/रष क 1सफा/रश( पर,

झारखड माल और सेवा कर नयमावल3 2017 का और संशोधन करने के 1लए न5न1ल6खत नयम बनाती है

अथा;त्:--

(1) इन नयम( का सं?@Aत नाम झारखड माल और सेवाकर (दूसरा संशोधन) नयमावल3 2020 है।

(2) इन नयम( मD अEयथा उपबधत के 1सवाय, ये नयम ता/रख 02 माच;, 2020 से !वृ#त

मानी जायेगी।

झारखड माल और सेवा कर नयमावल3, 2017 के नयम 31क के उपनयम (2) के Lथान पर

न5न1ल6खत उप नयम 1 माच;, 2020 से रखा जाएगा, अथा;त्:--

''(2) लाटर3 के !दाय का मूOय, Pटकट के अंQकत मूOय का या आयोजनकता; राSय वारा राजपT मD यथा

अधसूचत मूOय का 100/128, इनमD से जो भी उXचतर हो समझा जाएगा।

LपYट3करण – इस उप नयम के !योजन( के 1लए ''आयोजनकता; राSय'' पद का वह3 अथ; होगा जो

लाटर3 (\वनयमन) नयम, 2010, के नयम 2 के उपनयम (1) के खंड़ (च) मD उसका है।''
