No.82--In order to extend the control period and in view of the remarkable changes in wind energy

sector with the technology advancement and tariff discovered through competitive bidding, the

Commission in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 86 (1) (a),(b) and (c) read with (e), Section

61 (a to h), and Section 62 (1) of the Electricity Act 2003 and all other powers enabling it in this

behalf, the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following regulation

to amend the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Determination of Tariff for

Procurement of Power from Wind, Biogas, Municipal Solid waste and Refuse Derived fuel based

Power Projects) Regulations, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as “the Principal Regulations”) namely.

1. Short Title and Commencement

1.1. These Regulation may be called the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission

(Determination of Tariff for Procurement of Power from Wind, Biogas, Municipal Solid waste

and Refuse Derived fuel-based Power Projects) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2020.

1.2. These Amendment shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Jharkhand

Gazette unless reviewed earlier or extended by the Commission, and shall remain in force up

to 31^st March, 2025.

2. Amendment to Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulation

2.1. In 4.58 proviso be added as

“provided Commission may modify the above parameters after a prudence check on case-to-

case basis.”
