30 September,2021

S.O. 49 dated 30^th September, 2021-- In the light of Para 7.9(a) of Jharkhand Industrial and

Investment Promotion Policy, 2016 and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 9 of the

Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948 (adopted), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to exempt Mega IT

Units from the payment of Electricity Duty for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of the

commercial operation of the Unit.

This Notification shall be deemed to be effective from 01.04.2016 and shall be in force till

31.03.2021.
