S.O. 48 dated 30^th September, 2021--In the light of Para 7.8 of Jharkhand Industrial and

Investment Promotion Policy, 2016 and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 9 of the

Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948 (adopted), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to exempt new or

existing industrial units setting up captive power plant for self consumption or captive use (in respect

of power being used by the plant) from the payment of 100% of Electricity Duty for a period of 5

(five) years from the date of commissioning of the power plant.

This Notification shall be deemed to be effective from 01.04.2016 and shall be in force till

31.03.2021.
