सं. 479/2022(1)--यतः, भारत 6नवा7चन आयोग ने रा9:पतीय 6नवा7चन, 2022 के संचालन के संबंध

म= रा9:पतीय और उप-रा9:पतीय 6नवा7चन 6नयम 1974, के 6नयम 7 के अधीन Bदनांक 15 जून, 2022 को

जारE अपनी अ0धसूचना सं. 479/2022(1) के वारा मतदान का Gथान व 6नवा7चकI का समूह, जो उन मतदान

GथलI पर मतदान करने का पाK होगा, उनको अ0धसू0चत कर Bदया है; और

यतः, उNत अ0धसूचना कO BटPपणी म= मतदान कO तारEख से 10 Bदन पहले कO सीमा उस Qप म=

6नधा7Rरत कO गई है, िजससे पहले कोई भी संसद सदGय/Tवधान सभा सदGय Uकसी Tवशेष पRरिGथ6त के कारण

यBद उनके समूह के लए अ0धसू0चत मतदान-Gथल के अलावा अWय मतदान Gथल पर मतदान करना

चाहता/चाहती हो तो उसे 6नधा7Rरत पK म= भारत 6नवा7चन आयोग को सीधे आवेदन करते हुए सू0चत करना

होगा; और

यतः, आयोग ने अXयWत ताXकालक िGथ6त के मामले म= 10 Bदन पूव7 सूचना कO उपयु7Nत शत7 को

उदार बनाने का 6नण7य लया है;

अतः, अब आयोग ने यह 6नण7य लया है Uक उपयु7Nत योजन के लए आयोग म= मतदान कO तारEख

से 10 Bदन पूव7 कO अव0ध के पYचात भी ाPत अनुरोध, यBद कोई है, तो आयोग वारा उस पर ZयिNतगत

मामले कO िGथ6त के आधार पर Tवचार Uकया जा सकता है और आयोग ऐसे संसद सदGय/Tवधान सभा सदGय

को उनके समूह के लए अ0धसू0चत Gथान के अलावा अWय मतदान Gथल पर मतदान करने कO अनुम6त दे

सकता है, यBद इस संबंध म= आवYयक ZयवGथा करने के लए पया7Pत समय उपल]ध हो ।

NOTIFICATION

11^th July, 2022/ Ashadha 20, 1944 (Saka)

No. 479/2022(1)--Whereas, the Election Commission of India, in connection with

conduct of Presidential Election, 2022, has notified under Rule 7 of the Presidential and Vice-

Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, vide its Notification No. 479/2022(1) dated 15^th June, 2022,

the Place of polling and Group of electors who will be entitled to vote at those places of poll; and

Whereas, in the Note to the said Notification, a limit of 10 days before the date of poll has

been fixed, before which any Member of Parliament/Member of Legislative Assembly, on

account of exigency for special circumstances, has to intimate if he/she desires to vote at place of

polling other than the one notified for his/her group, by directly applying to the Election

Commission of India in the prescribed format; and

Whereas, the Commission has decided to liberalise the above said stipulation of 10 days’

prior intimation in case of extreme urgent situation;

Now, therefore, the Commission has decided that the requests for the aforesaid purpose,

received in the Commission, even after 10 days before the date of poll, if any, may be considered

by the Commission based upon the circumstances of individual case and allow such Member of

Parliament/Member of Legislative Assembly to cast vote at place of polling other than the one

notified for his/her group, if there is sufficient time available for making necessary arrangements

in this regard.
