Whereas the Petitioner Smt. Nirmala Devi has filed an Election Petition
bearing E.P No. 01 of 2016 calling in question the election of Sri Mukhtar Abbas
Naqvi and Shri Mahesh Poddar to the Rajya Sabha as its members in the
Biennial Election by the elected members of the Jharkhand State Legislative
Assembly, held in the month of May/June 2016;
And Whereas during the course of trial, the Election Petitioner Smt. Nirmala
Devi has filed an Interlocutory Application bearing I.A No. 6416/2022 in this
Court under section 151 of the Civil Procedure Code for withdrawal of Election
Petition on the ground mentioned therein;
As such keeping in view of section 109 & 110 of the Representation of
People Act, 1951 this Court has directed the publication of Notice that all
concerned person/persons are being noticed that the instant Election Petition
is being withdrawn and therefore, if they so desire to continue the instant
Election Petition can appear as a party in this case;

Take notice that in the event of non-appearance of any interested
person/persons who so ever is interested to contest this election petition, then he
may do so by appearing within the stipulated period prescribed under the law
failing which this Hon'ble Court shall pass appropriate Order in accordance of
law;
