Notification No.- 12/2022 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 8, Dated 14^th March, 2023:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of

2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the

following further amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes

Department, No.1/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^thJune, 2017, published in the Gazette of

Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 31, dated the 29^thJune, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, -

(A)

in Schedule I – 2.5%, -

i.

against S. No. 102A, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted,

namely: -

“Ethyl alcohol supplied to Oil Marketing Companies or Petroleum refineries for blending

with motor spirit (petrol)”;

ii.

against S. No. 103A, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted,

namely: -

“Bran, sharps and other residues, whether or not in the form of pellets, derived from the

sifting, milling or other working of cereals or of leguminous plants [other than aquatic

feed including shrimp feed and prawn feed, poultry feed and cattle feed, including grass,

hay and straw, supplement and additives, husk of pulses including chilka, concentrates

including chuni or churi, khanda, wheat bran, de-oiled cake]”;

(B)

in Schedule II – 6%, -

(i) against S. No.48, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted,

namely: -

“Fruit pulp or fruit juice based drinks [other than Carbonated Beverages of Fruit Drink or

Carbonated Beverages with Fruit Juice]”;

(ii) against S. No.180, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted,

namely: -

“Mathematical boxes, geometry boxes and colour boxes”;

(C)

in Schedule III – 9%, against S. No.25, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be

substituted, namely: -

“Ethyl alcohol and other spirits, denatured, of any strength [other than ethyl alcohol

supplied to Oil Marketing Companies or Petroleum refineries for blending with motor

spirit (petrol)]”.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 1^st day of January, 2023.

amended by notification No. 06/2022 – State Tax (Rate), dated the 23^rd August, 2022, published in the

(2017 का 12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप धारा (1)और धारा 15 कȧ उप धारा (5) के तहत Ĥद× त

शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा,

झारखÖड सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 1/2017- राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक

29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 31, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017, के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ,

असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा: -

उÈत अͬधसूचना मɅ,-

क.

अनुसूचीI मɅ– 2.5%, -

(i) Đमांक 102क के सम¢, कॉलम (3) कȧ Ĥͪविçट के èथान पर, Ǔनà नͧलͨखत Ĥͪविçट को

ĤǓतè थाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा: -

“एथाइल अãकोहल, जो कȧ मोटर िèपǐरट (पेĚोल) के साथ ͧमलाने के ͧलए

ऑयल माकȶ Ǒटंग कंपǓनयɉ या पेĚोͧलयम ǐरफाइनǐरयɉ को आपूǓत[ ͩकया गया हो”;

(ii) Đमांक 103(अ)के सम¢, कॉलम (3) कȧ Ĥͪविçट के èथान पर, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Ĥͪविçट

को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा: -

“चोकर, तीêण और अÛय अपशशçट चाहे वह गुǑटका के Ǿप मɅ हɉ या नहȣं

धाÛय के या फलȣदार पौधɉ के, पेषण या अÛय काय[ से åयु×पÛन हो [जलȣय फ़ȧड

समेत झींगा फ़ȧड और झींगा फ़ȧड, पोãĚȣ फ़ȧड और पशु फ़ȧड सǑहत घास, घास

और पुआल, पूरक और योजक, ͬचãका सǑहत दालɉ कȧ भूसी, चुÛनी या चूरȣ,

खंडा सǑहत सांġ, गेहूं कȧ भूसी, डी-ऑइल के कसे ͧभÛन]”;

अनुसूची II मɅ – 6%, -

(iii) Đमांक 48 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) कȧ Ĥͪविçट के èथान पर, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत

Ĥͪविçट को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा:-

“फलɉ के पã प या फलɉ के रस आधाǐरत पेय [फल रस का काबȾनेटेड ǒबवरेज या

फल रस युÈत काबȾनेटेड ǒबवरेज के अलावा]”;

(iv) Đमांक 180 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) कȧ Ĥͪविçट के èथान पर, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत

Ĥͪविçट को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा: -

“मैथमेǑटकल बॉÈसेस, ÏयोमेĚȣ बॉÈसेस और कलर बॉÈसेस”;

अनुसूची III मɅ -9%, Đमांक 25 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) कȧ Ĥͪविçट के è थान पर,

Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Ĥͪविçट को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा: -

“ͩकसी भी सांġता के एथाइल अãकोहल और अÛय िèपǐरɪस, ͫडनेचड[, [एथाइल

अãकोहल, जो कȧ मोटर िèपǐरट (पेĚोल) के साथ ͧमलाने के ͧलए ऑयल

माकȶ Ǒटंग कंपǓनयɉ या पेĚोͧलयम ǐरफाइनǐरयɉ को आपूǓत[ ͩकया गया हो से

ͧभÛ न]”;
