Notification No.- 13/2023 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 60, Dated 05^th March, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3)

and (4) of section 9, sub-section (1) of section 11, sub-section (5) of section 15 and section 148 of the

Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on being

satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the

Council, hereby makes the following amendment further to amend the notification of the

Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes Department, No.12/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th

June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 42, dated the 29^th June,

2017, namely:—

In the said notification, in the Table, -

(1.) after serial number 3A and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and

entries shall be inserted, namely: -

(2.) against serial number 6, in column (3),in item (a), after the words “Department of Posts”,

the words and brackets “and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)” shall be inserted;

(3.) against serial number 7,in column (3), in the Explanation, in item (a), in sub-item(i), after

the words “Department of Posts”, the words and brackets “and the Ministry of Railways

(Indian Railways)”shall be inserted;

(4.) against serial number 8,in column (3)in the proviso, in item (i), after the words

“Department of Posts”, the words and brackets “and the Ministry of Railways (Indian

Railways)” shall be inserted;

(5.) against serial number 9,in column (3),inthe first proviso, in item (i), after the words

“Department of Posts”, the words and brackets“and the Ministry of Railways (Indian

Railways)” shall be inserted;

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 20^th day of October, 2023.

(2017 का 12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप धारा (3) और उप धारा (4), धारा 11 कȧ उप धारा (1), धारा 15

कȧ उप धारा (5) और धारा 148 के तहत Ĥदƣ शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, इस

बात से संतुçट होते हुए ͩक ऐसा करना जनǑहत मɅ आवæयक है और पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार

पर, एतदɮवारा, झारखÖड सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 12/2017- राÏय कर

(दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस.ओ. सं. 42, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखÖड के

राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनàनͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है,

इस अͬधसूचना मɅ, ताͧलका मɅ,-

(1) Đम संÉ या 3क और उससे संबंͬधत Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæचात्, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Đम संÉ या और

Ĥͪविçटयɉ को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, अथा[त्:-

शÞदɉ और कोçठक“ [और रेल मंğालय (भारतीय रेल)] ” को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;

(5) Đम संÉ या 9 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) मɅ, Ĥथम परंतुक मɅ, खंड (i) मɅ, शÞदɉ “डाक ͪवभाग” के

पæचात्”, शÞदɉ और कोçठक“ [और रेल मंğालय (भारतीय रेल)] ” को अंतःèथाͪपत

ͩकया जाएगा ।

2. यह अͬधसूचना Ǒदनांक 20 अÈटूबर, 2023 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।
