Notification No.- 14/2023 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 61, Dated 05^th March, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of

section 9 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of

Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments

in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, in the Commercial Taxes Department,

No.13/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand,

Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 43, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:

In the said notification, in the Table, -

(i) against serial number 5, in column (2), in item (2), in sub-item (i), after the words

“Department of Posts”, the words and brackets “and the Ministry of Railways (Indian

Railways)”shall be inserted;

(ii) against serial number 5A, in column (2), after the words “Services supplied by the

Central Government”, the words and brackets “[excluding the Ministry of Railways (Indian

Railways)]” shall be inserted.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 20^th day of October, 2023.

Note: -The principal notification no. 13/2017 - State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017 was published

in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 43, dated the 29^th June, 2017 and was last

amended vide notification no. 08/2023 - State Tax (Rate), dated the 16^th October, 2023 published in the

Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 38, dated the 16^th October, 2023.

एस. ओ. सं. 61, Ǒदनांक 5 माच[, 2024--झारखÖड माल और सेवा कर अͬधǓनयम, 2017 (2017 का

12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप-धारा (3) के तहत Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ

ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा, झारखÖड सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 13/2017-

राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस.ओ. सं. 43, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखÖड के

राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा:-

उÈ त अͬधसूचना मɅ,सारणी मɅ,-

(i) Đम संÉया 5 के सम¢, कॉलम (2) मɅ, उप-खंड (2) मɅ, मद (i) मɅ, "डाक ͪवभाग" शÞदɉ के बाद, "और रेल

मंğालय (भारतीय रेल) " शÞदɉ को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;

(ii) Đम संÉया 5क के सम¢, कॉलम (2) मɅ, "कɅ ġ सरकार ɮवारा Ĥदƣ सेवाएं" शÞदɉ के बाद, "[ रेल मंğालय

(भारतीय रेल) को छोड़कर]" शÞदɉ को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा ।

2. यह अͬधसूचना Ǒदनांक 20 अÈटूबर, 2023 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।

Ǒदनांक 16 अÈटूबर, 2023 के तहत Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, के ɮवारा संशोधन ͩकया गया था।
