Notification No.- 17/2023 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 64, Dated 05^th March, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of

2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the

following further amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes

Department, No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of

Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 31, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, -

(A)

in Schedule I – 2.5%, -

(i) after S. No. 92 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be

inserted, namely: -

(B)

in Schedule III – 9%,

(i) against S. No. 13, in column (3), for the words and figures “of heading 1905”, the words

and figures “of heading 1905; food preparation of millet flour, in powder form, containing

at least 70% millets by weight, pre-packaged and labelled ” shall be substituted;

(ii) after S. No. 25 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be

inserted, namely: -

(C)

in Schedule IV – 14%, S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 20^th day of October, 2023.

(2017 का 12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप-धारा (1) और धारा 15 कȧ उप-धारा (5) के तहत Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ

का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा, झारखÖड

सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 1/2017- राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017,

िजसे एस.ओ. सं. 31, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत

ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा :-
