Notification No.- 19/2023 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 66, Dated 05^th March, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of

section 9 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of

Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in

the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes Department No. 4/2017- State Tax

(Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No.

34, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 6, in column 4, for the entry, the following

entry may be substituted, namely: -

“Central Government [excluding Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)], State Government,

Union territory or a local authority.”

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 20^th day of October, 2023.

Note: - The principal notification No. 4/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, was published

in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 34, dated the 29^th June, 2017 and was last

amended by notification No. 14/2022- State Tax (Rate), dated the 14^th March, 2023, published in the

Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 10, dated the 14^th March, 2023.

एस. ओ. सं. 66, Ǒदनांक 5 माच[, 2024 --झारखÖड माल और सेवा कर अͬधǓनयम, 2017 (2017 का

12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप-धारा (3) के तहत Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ

ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा, झारखÖड सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 4/2017-

राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस.ओ. सं. 34, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखÖड के

राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा :-

उÈत अͬधसूचना मɅ, ताͧलका मɅ, Đम संÉया 6 के सम¢, कॉलम 4 मɅ, Ĥͪविçट के ͧलए, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत

Ĥͪविçट ĤǓतèथाͪपत कȧ जाएगी, अथा[त्-:

"कɅ ġ सरकार [रेल मंğालय (भारतीय रेलवे) को छोड़कर], राÏय सरकार, कɅ ġ शाͧसत Ĥदेश या एक

èथानीय Ĥाͬधकरण ।"

2. यह अͬधसूचना Ǒदनांक 20 अÈटूबर, 2023 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।

अͬधसूचना संÉ या 14/2022- राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 14 माच[, 2023, िजसे एस.ओ. सं. 10, Ǒदनांक 14

माच[, 2023, के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, के ɮवारा संशोधन ͩकया

गया था।
