Notification No.- 20/2023 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 67, Dated 05^th March, 2024:- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of the

proviso to sub-section (3) of section 54 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of

2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the

following further amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand in the Commercial

Taxes Department, No. 5/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of

Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 35, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely :-

In the said notification, in the TABLE, after S. No. 6A and the entries relating thereto, following

Imitation zari thread or yarn made out of Metallised polyester film /plastic

film;

Explanation: This entry shall apply for refund of input tax credit only on

polyester film /plastic film”;

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 20^th day of October, 2023.

2017, and was last amended by notification No. 9/2022 – State Tax (Rate), dated the 23^rd August, 2022,

published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 30, dated the 23^rd August, 2022.
