The Jharkhand State Civil Courts Officers and Staffs (Recruitment, Promotion,

Transfer and Other Service Condition) (amendment) Rules, 2024

Notification No. - B/Vidhi-Nya.Stha-Vividh-18/2017-1487 /J,--In exercise of the powers under

Proviso of Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Government of Jharkhand hereby makes the

following amendment to The Jharkhand State Civil Courts Officers and staffs (Recruitment, Promotion,

Transfer and Other Service Conditions) (amendment) Rules 2024 to add provision for providing

preferences to local resident of Jharkhand in recruitment:-

1. Short title and commencement:-

(1) These Rules may be called The Jharkhand State Civil Courts Officers and Staffs (Recruitment,

Promotion, Transfer and Other Service Conditions) (amendment) Rules. 2024.

(2) It shall come into force with effect from the date of its notification.

The sub rule- 7(A) shall be inserted after Rule-7 of the Jharkhand State Civil Courts Officers and

Staffs (Recruitment, Promotion, Transfer and Other Service Conditions) (amendment) Rules. 2018

with the following:-

7(A) Preference shall be given to local resident of Jharkhand if he is at par with any other

persons (All things equal).
