Notification No.- 02/2024 – State Tax(Rate)
S.O. No. 9, Dated 14th August, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9
and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the
Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes Department, No. 1/2017-
State Tax (Rate), dated the 29th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No.
31, dated the 29th June, 2017, namely:-
In the said notification, -
(A)
in Schedule II – 6%, -
(i)
after serial number 121 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and
entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“121A
4819
10,
4819 20
Cartons, boxes and cases of, –
(a) corrugated paper or paper board; or
(b) non-corrugated paper or paper board”;
(ii)
after serial number 180 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and
entries shall be inserted, namely: -
“180A
7310, 7323, 7612, or 7615
Milk cans made of Iron, Steel,
or
Aluminium”;

(iii)
after serial number 183 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and
entries shall be inserted, namely: -

Solar cookers”;
(iv)
against serial number 199, in column (3), after the word “brooders”, the words and
symbol “; parts thereof” shall be inserted;
(B)
in Schedule III – 9%, -
(i)
for serial number 153A and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and
entries shall be substituted, namely: -
“153A

(a)
corrugated paper or paper board;or
(b)

(ii)
against serial number 224, after the word “equipment”, the words and symbols “; other
than

” shall be inserted;
(iii)
against serial number 235, in column (3), at the end, for the words, “and wood burning
stoves of iron or steel”, the words, “ ,wood burning stoves of iron or steel, and solar cookers” shall be
substituted;
(iv)
against serial number 273, after the words “boxes, etc.”, the words and symbols “; other
than Milk cans made of Aluminium” shall be inserted;
(v)
against serial number 275A, after the words “Utensils”, the words and symbol “; Milk
cans made of Aluminium” shall be inserted;
(vi)
against serial number 378A, in column (3), for the words and symbol “domestic
purposes;” , the words, symbol and brackets “domestic purposes [other than solar cookers];” shall be
substituted;
(C)
after the Schedule VII, in the Explanation, in clause (ii), after the entries relating thereto, the
following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-
“Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010)
and the rules made thereunder, as amended from time to time, the supply of agricultural farm
produce in package(s) of commodities containing quantity of more than 25 kilogram or 25 litre
shall not be considered as a supply made within the scope of expression ‘pre-packaged and
labelled’.”.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 15th day of July, 2024.

12), कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप धारा (1)और धारा 15 कȧ उप-धारा (5) के तहत Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए,

अͬधसूचना संÉ या 1/2017- राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 31, Ǒदनांक 29 जून,
2017, के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ आगे और भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत
संशोधन करती है, यथा:-

(क) अनुसूची II मɅ- 6%,-
(i) Đम संÉया 121 और उससे संबंͬधत Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæ चात, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Đम संÉया और Ĥͪविçटयाँ
अंतःèथाͪपत कȧ जाएंगी, यथाः-

Đम संÉया 224 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) मɅ Ĥͪविçट के èथान पर, “लौह या èटȣल से बने दूध के
ͧलए कैÛस को छोड़कर , ͩकसी अÛय सामĒी ( सàपीͫड़त या ġͪवत गैस से ͧभÛन ) के ͧलए टंकȧ ,
वाãव, Ĝम के बÈसे और समǾप आधान , िजनकȧ धाǐरता 3०० लȣटर से अͬधक नहȣं है, चाहे आèतǐरत
या तापरोͬधत है या नहȣं , ͩकÛतु िजनमे यांǒğक या तापीय उपèकर ͩफट नहȣं ͩकये गए हɇ” को
ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जायेगा;
(iii) Đम संÉया 235 के सम¢, कॉलम (3) मɅ, अंत मɅ, “और उड बǓनɍग èटोåस, आयरन या èटȣल
के, से ͧभÛन हɉ” शÞदɉ के ͧलए “वुड बǓनɍग èटोåस, आयरन या èटȣल के, और सोलर कूकर, से ͧभÛन
हɉ ” शÞदɉ को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;
(iv) Đम संÉया 273 के सम¢, शÞदɉ “बॉÈस आǑद” के पæ चात “, एãयूमीǓनयम से बने दूध के केन
को छोड़कर” शÞदɉ और Ĥतीक को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;
(v) Đम संÉया 275 क के सम¢, शÞदɉ “बत[नɉ” के पæ चात, “; एãयूमीǓनयम से बने दूध के केन”
Ĥतीकɉ और शÞदɉ को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;
(vi) Đम संÉया 378 क के सम¢, कॉलम (3) मɅ, शÞदɉ और Ĥतीक “अÛय तापीय साͬधğ” के पæचात,
“[सोलर कूकर को छोड़कर]” कोçठकɉ और शÞदɉ को ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा;
(ग)
अनुसूची VII के पæ चात, èपçटȣकरण मɅ, खंड (ii) मɅ, त×संबंधी Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæ चात Ǔनàनͧलͨखत
परंतुक को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया जायेगा, यथाः-
“बशतȶ ͩक ͪवͬधक मापͪव£ान अͬधǓनयम, 2009 (2010 का 1) और इसके अधीन बनाये गये Ǔनयमɉ,
समय-समय पर यथासंशोͬधत, मɅ ͩकसी भी बात के बावजूद, 25 ͩकलोĒाम या 25 लȣटर से अͬधक माğा
वाले वèतुओं के पैकेज (पैकेजɉ) मɅ कृͪष फाम[ उपज कȧ आपूǓत[ को ‘Ĥी- पेकेÏड और लेबल’ वाÈयांश के
भीतर कȧ गई आपूǓत[ के Ǿप मɅ नहȣं माना जायेगा।“ ।
