Notification No.- 03/2024 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 10, Dated 14^th August, 2024 :-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section

11 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, being

satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes

the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes

Department, No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand,

Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 32, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, after the Schedule, in the Explanation, in clause (ii), after the entries relating

thereto, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-

“Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010) and the

rules made thereunder, as amended from time to time, the supply of agricultural farm produce in

package(s) of commodities containing quantity of more than 25 kilogram or 25 litre shall not be

considered as a supply made within the scope of expression ‘pre-packaged and labelled’.”.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 15^th day of July, 2024.

एस. ओ. सं. 10, Ǒदनांक 14 अगèत, 2024 --झारखÖड माल और सेवा कर अͬधǓनयम, 2017 (2017 का

12) कȧ धारा 11 कȧ उप धारा (1) ɮवारा Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, इस बात से

संतुç ट होते हुए ͩक ऐसा करना जनǑहत मɅ आवæ यक है, पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा,

झारखÖड सरकार, वाͨणÏय-कर ͪवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 2/2017- राÏय कर (दर), Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017,

िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 32, Ǒदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया

गया था, मɅ और आगे भी Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा : -

उÈत अͬधसूचना मɅ, अनुसूची के पæ चात, è पç टȣकरण मɅ, खंड (ii) मɅ, उससे संबंͬधत Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæ चात,

Ǔनà नͧलͨखत परंतुक को अंत:è थाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, यथा :-

“बशतȶ ͩक ͪवͬधक मापͪव£ान अͬधǓनयम, 2009 (2010 का 1) और इसके अधीन बनाये गये

Ǔनयमɉ, समय-समय पर यथासंशोͬधत, मɅ ͩकसी भी बात के बावजूद, 25 ͩकलोĒाम या 25 लȣटर से

अͬधक माğा वाले वèतुओं के पैकेज (पैकेजɉ) मɅ कृͪष फाम[ उपज कȧ आपूǓत[ को ‘Ĥी- पेकेÏड और लेबल’

वाÈयांश के भीतर कȧ गई आपूǓत[ के Ǿप मɅ नहȣं माना जायेगा।“ ।

यह अͬधसूचना Ǒदनांक 15 जुलाई, 2024 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।

2024, के तहत झारखÖड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, के ɮवारा संशोधन ͩकया गया है ।
