S.O. No. 11, Dated 14^th August, 2024--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) and sub-

section (4) of section 9, sub-section (1) of section 11, sub-section (5) of section 15 and section 148 of the

Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on being satisfied that

it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following

amendment further to amend the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, in the Commercial Taxes

Department, No.12/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand,

Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 32, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:—

In the said notification, in the Table, -

(A)

after serial number 9D and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be

inserted, namely: -

(a) accommodation services for students in student residences;

(b) accommodation services provided by Hostels, Camps, Paying Guest accommodations and

the like.”;

(भारतीय रेल) को ǐरयायती अवͬध के दौरान उनके

ɮवारा Ǔनͧम[त और èवाͧम×व वाले बुǓनयादȣ ढांचे का

ĤǓतफल के ͪवǽɮध उपयोग करने कȧ सेवाएं और रेल

मंğालय (भारतीय रेल) ɮवारा एसपीवी Ǔनͧम[त और

èवाͧम×व वाले उÈत बुǓनयादȣ ढांचे के संबंध मɅ

ǐरयायती अवͬध के दौरान ĤǓतफल के ͪवǽɮध

रखरखाव कȧ सेवाएं।

Đम संÉया 12 मɅ,

(i)

कॉलम (2) मɅ, शÞदɉ और आंकड़ɉ “शीष[क 9963 या” का लोप ͩकया जाएगा;

(ii) कॉलम (3) मɅ, èपçटȣकरण को èपçटȣकरण 1 के Ǿप मɅ अंͩकत ͩकया जाएगा और èपçटȣकरण

1, जो इस Ĥकार अंͩकत ͩकया गया है, के पæ चात Ǔनàनͧलͨखत èपçटȣकरण को अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकया

जाएगा-

“èपçटȣकरण 2.-इस Ĥͪविçट मɅ अंतͪव[ç ट कोई बात Ǔनà नͧल ͨखत पर लागू नहȣं होगी-

(क)

ͪवɮयाथȸ आवासɉ मɅ ͪवɮयाͬथ[यɉ के ͧलए आवासीय सेवाएं;

(ख)

होèटãस, ͧशͪवर, पेइंग गेè ट आवासɉ और इसी Ĥकार के अÛय आवासɉ ɮवारा दȣ जा

रहȣ आवासीय सेवाएं।”;

(ग)

Đम संÉया 12 और त×संबंधी Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæ चात्, Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Đम संÉया और Ĥͪविçटयां

अंतःèथाͪपत कȧ जाएंगी, अथा[त्:-

मूã य ĤǓत å यिÈत ĤǓत माह बीस हजार ǽपए या

उससे कम हो, बशतȶ कȧ यह आवासीय सेवा कम

से कम 90 Ǒदनɉ कȧ अवͬध के ͧलए दȣ गई हो ।
