36(2) of the Jharkhand Agricultural University Act, 2000, (Adopted) the following amendment in clause
14.1(1)(d) Statute of the Birsa Agricultural University as approved by the Hon’ble Chancellor, duly
conveyed by the Officer on Special Duty(Judicial), Governor’s Secretariat, Raj Bhawan, Jharkhand,
Ranchi vide its Letter no. BAU-07/2011(part)-3074/GS dated 29.11.2024 is hereby published under
Section 36(4) of the Jharkhand Agricultural University Act, 2000(Adopted) for general information.

After Amendment
The Selection Committee for
Career Advancement shall be the
same
as
those
for
direct
recruitment for each category. In
addition, one representative of
the State Government will be
included as a member of the
committee as contained in item-2
(vii) of the Sankalp No. 2976
dated 05.10.2002 issued by The
Department
of
Agriculture,
Government of Bihar.
The
constitution
of
Selection
Committee for Career Advancement
Scheme (CAS) shall be under the
chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor, Birsa
Agricultural University with nominee of
Chancellor
and
Administrative
Department
(Department
of
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Co-
operative, Govt. of Jharkhand) as
approved
by
State
Govt.
and
committee will decide the promotion
as per guideline of ICAR/UGC for each
category.
Order: The above order be published in Jharkhand Gazette as per Section 36(4) of the Jharkhand
Agricultural University Act, 2000(Adopted) as allowed by the Hon’ble Chancellor, Jharkhand vide letter
no. BAU-07/2011(part)-3074/GS dated 29.11.2024.
