No. 56/A.-- In exercise of the powers conferred upon the High Court under Sub Section (I) of Section 11

of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Executive Officers named in the table given below are

appointed as Special Judicial Magistrates of the 2nd Class from the date of issue of this Notification till

03.03.2025, within their respective territorial jurisdiction, to try cases under the Jharkhand Conduct of

Examination Act, 2001 which they can competently try under the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

These Officers are also vested with the powers conferrable on a Judicial Magistrate of the 2nd Class to

try summarily the cases under the Jharkhand Conduct of Examination Act, 2001 as are covered under Section

284 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

The Officers named in the table given below are also conferred with the powers to take cognizance of the

offences under the Jharkhand Conduct of Examination Act, 2001 which they have been authorized to try in their

territorial jurisdiction.
