22^nd March, 2025

S.O. 6, dated 22^nd March, 2025 — In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-

section (1) of section 110 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), and proviso

thereof, the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, in respect of the

qualification of the officers of Jharkhand for appointment as a Technical Member (State) in the State

Benches of Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal, hereby relaxes the qualification from the

requirement of -

i. “completion of twenty-five years of service in Group ‘A’, or equivalent” as per proviso to

clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 110 of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) to

“an officer of the Commercial Tax Department of Jharkhand, who has completed at least twenty-five

years of service in the Government, as Gazetted Officer”; and

ii. “not below the rank of Additional Commissioner” to “not below the rank of Joint

Commissioner of State tax” as a minimum qualifying rank of the officer who shall be eligible for

Technical Member (State) subject to other conditions of section 110 (1) (d) of the CGST Act, 2017.

2. The said relaxation is applicable for a period of ten years and is subject to the other terms and

conditions of sections 110 (1) (d) of the CGST Act, 2017.

3. This notification shall be effective from the date of publication in the official Gazette.

का 12) कȧ धारा 110 कȧ उप-धारा (1) के खंड (घ) और उसके Ĥावधान ɮवारा Ĥदƣ शिÈतयɉ का

Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारखÖड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ पर, माल और सेवा कर अपीलȣय

Ûयायाͬधकरण कȧ राÏय पीठ मɅ तकनीकȧ सदèय (राÏय) के Ǿप मɅ ǓनयुिÈत के ͧलए झारखÖड के

अͬधकाǐरयɉ कȧ योÊयता कȧ आवæयकता को Ǔनàनवत ͧशͬथल करती है -

i. कɅ ġȣय माल और सेवा कर अͬधǓनयम, 2017 (2017 का 12) कȧ धारा 110 कȧ उप-धारा (1) के

खंड (घ) के Ĥावधान के अनुसार ‘‘समूह ‘क’ या समतुãय सेवा मɅ पÍचीस वष[ कȧ सेवा पूण[ करने कȧ

अपे¢ा’’, को ‘‘झारखÖड के वाͨणÏय कर ͪवभाग का अͬधकारȣ िजसने राजपǒğत अͬधकारȣ के Ǿप मɅ

सरकार मɅ कम से कम पÍचीस वष[ कȧ सेवा पूरȣ कर लȣ हो’’; और

ii. अͬधकारȣ कȧ Ûयूनतम योÊयता रɇक के Ǿप मɅ ‘‘अपर आयुÈत के पद से अÛनुयन’’ को ‘‘राÏय कर

संयुÈत आयुÈत पद से अÛनूयन’’ जो सीजीएसटȣ अͬधǓनयम, 2017 कȧ धारा 110 (1) (घ) कȧ अÛय

शतɟ के अधीन तकनीकȧ सदèय (राÏय) के ͧलए पाğ हɉगे।

2. सीजीएसटȣ अͬधǓनयम, 2017 कȧ धारा 110 (1) (घ) के अÛय शतɟ एवं Ǔनबɍधनɉ

अÚयधीन यह ͧशͬथलता 10 वषɟ के ͧलए Ĥभावी होगी।

3. यह अͬधसूचना सरकारȣ राजपğ मɅ Ĥकाशन कȧ Ǔतͬथ से लागू होगी।
