Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission(Determination of Tariff for

Procurement of Power from Wind, Biogas, Municipal Solid Waste and Refuse Derived

fuel-based Power Projects) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2025.

Notification no 111--The Commission in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 86 (1) (a), (b),

and (c.) read with (e.), Section 61(a to h), and section 62 (1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003)

and all other powers enabling in it on that behalf, the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory

Commission hereby makes the following Regulations to amend JSERC (Determination of Tariff for

Procurement of Power from Wind, Biogas, Municipal Solid Waste and Refuse Derived fuel-based

Power Projects) Regulations, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Principal Regulations’) namely.

1. Short Title and Commencement

1.1.

These Regulations may be called the JSERC (Determination of Tariff for Procurement of Power

from Wind, Biogas, Municipal Solid Waste and Refuse Derived fuel-based Power Projects)

(Second Amendment) Regulations, 2025.

2. Amendment to Regulation 1.3

In the Principal Regulations, under chapter A1, Regulations 1.3 shall be read as following:

These Regulations shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Jharkhand

Gazetteunless reviewed or amended or extended by the Commission and shall remain in force

upto 31st March, 2030.
