No.:-2 /Sa.Pu-443 /2003/43/Aa.Pra.,--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section-1 of

Section-20 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 (Act No. 53 of 2005 dated-23.12.2005) clause (c) is

inserted in sub-section-2 after clause (b) in section-20 of the Principal Act as per Disaster Management

(Amendment) Act 2025 (Act No. 10 of 2025 dated-29.03.2025), the Government of Jharkhand hereby

reconstitute a State Executive Committee (SEC) for the State of Jharkhand consisting of the following

members, namely:-

(i) The Chief Secretary to the State Government

- Chairperson ex officio

(ii) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary,

Finance Department

- Member ex officio

(iii) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary,

Home, Prison & Disaster Management Department

- Member ex officio

(iv) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary,

Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department

- Member ex officio

(vi) Director General of Police, Jharkhand

-Member ex officio

In order to assist the committee from time to time such other officials, as deemed fit, may be

invited as special invitee.

In this regard, the earlier issued Departmental Notification No.-217, Dated-31.03.2019 is revised

to this extent.
