Notification No.- 01/2025 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 33, Dated 9^th July, 2025:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9

and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the

Government of Jharkhand, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the

recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the

Government of Jharkhand, Commercial Taxes Department, No. 1/2017- State Tax (Rate), published in the

Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 31, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, -

(a)

in the Schedule I – 2.5%, after S. No. 98A and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No.

and entries shall be inserted, namely: -

(b)

in the Schedule III – 9%, against S. No. 15, in column (3), after the words

“commonly known as Murki”, the words “, Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK)” shall be inserted;

(c)

after the Schedule VII, in the Explanation, for clause (ii) and proviso appended to it, the

following clause shall be substituted, namely: -

“(ii) The expression ‘pre-packaged and labelled’ means all commodities that are intended for retail sale

and containing not more than 25 kg or 25 litre, which are ‘pre-packed’ as defined in clause (l) of section

2 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010) where, the package in which the commodity is pre-

packed or a label securely affixed thereto is required to bear the declarations under the provisions of the

Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010) and the rules made thereunder.”.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 16^th day of January, 2025.

(2017 का 12) कȧ धारा 9 कȧ उप-धारा (1) और धारा 15 कȧ उप धारा(5) के तहत Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ का

Ĥयोग करते हुए, झारख᭛ड सरकार, पǐरषद कȧ ͧसफाǐरशɉ के आधार पर, एतदɮवारा, झारख᭛ड सरकार,

कर िवभाग कȧ अͬधसूचना संÉ या 1/2017- रा᭔य कर (दर), िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 31, Ǒदनांक 29 जून,

2017 के तहत झारख᭛ड के राजपğ, असाधारण, मɅ Ĥकाͧशत ͩकया गया था, मɅ और आगे भी

Ǔनà नͧलͨखत संशोधन करती है, यथा:-

(क) अनुसूची 1 - 2.5%, मɅ- Đम संÉ या 98क के पæचात, एवं उससे संबंͬधत Ĥͪविçटयɉ के पæचात

Ǔनàनͧलͨखत Đ.सं. और Ĥͪविçटयां अंतःèथाͪपत कȧ जाएंगी, अथा[तः-

(ख) अनुसूची III- 9%, मɅ– कॉलम (3) Đ.सं. 15 के सामने, “सामाÛयतः मुरकȧ के नाम से £ात” शÞदɉ

के पæचात “, फ़ोǑट[फ़ाइड राइस कनȶल (एफआरके)” शÞद अंतःèथाͪपत ͩकए जाएंगे;

(ग) अनुसूची VII के पæचात, èपçटȣकरण मɅ, खंड (ii) और उसके परंतुक के èथान पर Ǔनàनͧलͨखत खंड

ĤǓतèथाͪपत ͩकया जाएगा, अथा[तः-

“(ii) 'Ĥी-पेकेÏड और लेबल’ वाÈयांश का अथ[ सभी वèतुएं जो खुदरा ͪवĐȧ के ͧलए है और िजनमɅ

25 ͩकलोĒाम या 25 लȣटर से अͬधक नहȣं है, जो ͪवͬधक माप ͪव£ान अͬधǓनयम, 2009

(2010 का 1) कȧ धारा 2 के उपधारा(1) मɅ पǐरभाͪषत कȧ गयी पǐरभाषा के आधार से Ĥी-पैÈड

हो ͩकया गया है, जहां ͪवͬधक माप ͪव£ान अͬधǓनयम, 2009 (2010 का 1) और उसके तहत

बनाए गए Ǔनयमɉ के Ĥावधानɉ के अंतग[त ͩकये गए पैकेज िजसमे वèतु जो पहले से पैक ͩकया

गया है या उसपर सुरͯ¢त Ǿप से ͬचपके हुए लेबल का घोषणापğ वहन करना आवæयक है|”.

यह अिधसूचना ᳰदनांक 16 जनवरी, 2025 से लागू मानी जाएगी।
