Notification No.- 03/2025 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 35, Dated 9^th July, 2025:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 9 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of

Jharkhand, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations

of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of

Jharkhand in the Commercial Taxes Department, No. 39/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated the 24^th October,

2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 111, dated the 24^th October,

2017, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 1, in column 3, after the end of words and

symbols “(b) Fortified Rice Kernel (Premix) supply for ICDS or similar scheme duly approved by the

Central Government or any State Government”, the words and symbols, “(c) food inputs for (a)

above.” shall be inserted.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 16^th day of January, 2025.

Note: - The principal notification No. 39/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated the 24^th October, 2017,

was published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 111, dated the

24^th October, 2017 and was last amended vide notification No. 11/2021 – State Tax (Rate), dated the

25^th November, 2021, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 56, dated the

25^th November, 2021.

एस. ओ. सं. 35, िदनांक 9 जुलाई, 2025 – झारखǷ माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017

का 12) की धारा 9 की उप-धारा (1) के तहत Ůद̝ त शİƅयों का Ůयोग करते Šए, झारखǷ सरकार, पįरषद की

िसफाįरशों के आधार पर, एतदȪारा, झारखǷ सरकार, वािणǛ-कर िवभाग की अिधसूचना सं̏ या 39/2017-

राǛ कर (दर), िदनांक 24 अƅूबर, 2017, िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 111, िदनांक 24 अƅूबर, 2017 के तहत

झारखǷ के राजपũ, असाधारण, मŐ Ůकािशत िकया गया था, मŐ िन̱ निलİखत संशोधन करती है, अथाŊत:-

उƅ अिधसूचना मŐ, सारणी मŐ, Ţम संƥा 1 के सामने, कॉलम 3 मŐ, शɨ और Ůतीक, “(ख) कŐ ūीय

सरकार या िकसी राǛ सरकार Ȫारा सʄक् ŝप से अनुमोिदत आईसीडीएस या इसी तरह की योजना मŐ आपूितŊ

के िलए फोिटŊफाइड चावल कनőल (Ůीिमƛ)” के पʮात शɨ और Ůतीक, “(ग) उपरोƅ (क) के िलए खाȨ

इनपुट” अंतः̾थािपत िकए जाएंगे।

यह अिधसूचना िदनांक 16 जनवरी, 2025 से लागू मानी जाएगी।

अंितम बार अिधसूचना सं̏ या 11/2021- राǛ कर (दर), िदनांक 25 नवɾर, 2021 के तहत संशोधन िकया गया

था, िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 56, िदनांक 25 नवɾर, 2021 के तहत झारखǷ के राजपũ, असाधारण, मŐ Ůकािशत िकया

गया था।
