Notification No.- 14/2025 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 47, Dated 26^th September, 2025-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section

(1) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

(12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby notifies

the rate of the state tax of 6 per cent in respect of goods specified in Schedule appended to this

notification, that shall be levied on intra-State supplies of goods, the description of which is

specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule, falling under the tariff item,

sub-heading, heading or Chapter, as the case may be, as specified in the corresponding entry in

column (2) of the said Schedule.

Explanation.— For the purposes of this notification,—

(a) the expressions "tariff item", "sub-heading", "heading" and "Chapter" shall mean

respectively a tariff item, sub-heading, heading and Chapter as specified in the First Schedule to

the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975);

(b)

the rules for the interpretation of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51

of 1975) including the Section and Chapter Notes and the General Explanatory Notes of the

First Schedule shall, so far as may be, apply to the interpretation of this notification;

(c)

the words and expressions used and not defined in this notification, but defined in the

Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Integrated Goods and Services Tax

Act, 2017 (13 of 2017) and the Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (14 of 2017),

shall have the same meanings as assigned to them in those Acts.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 22^th day of September, 2025.

(2017 का 12) की धारा 9 की उप-धारा (5) के तहत Ůद̝ त शİƅयों का Ůयोग करते Šए, झारखǷ सरकार,

पįरषद की िसफाįरशों के आधार पर, एतदȪारा, इस अिधसूचना के साथ संलư अनुसूची मŐ िविनिदŊʼ वˑुओं के

संबंध मŐ 6 Ůितशत की राǛ कर की दर को अिधसूिचत करती है, जो उन वˑुओं की राǛाȶगŊत आपूितŊ पर

लगाया जाएगा, िजनका िववरण उƅ अनुसूची के कॉलम (3) मŐ संबंिधत Ůिविʼ मŐ, टैįरफ मद, उप-शीषŊ, शीषŊ या

अȯाय के अंतगŊत आने वाली वˑुएं हœ, जैसा भी मामला हो, जैसा िक उƅ अनुसूची के कॉलम (2) मŐ संबंिधत Ůिविʼ

मŐ िविनिदŊʼ है।

˙ʼीकरण—इस अिधसूचना के Ůयोजन के िलए,—

(क) “टैįरफ मद”, “उप-शीषŊ”, “शीषŊ” और “अȯाय” पदों का Ţमशः वही अथŊ होगा जो सीमा शुʋ टैįरफ

अिधिनयम, 1975 (1975 का 51) की पहली अनुसूची मŐ िविनिदŊʼ टैįरफ मद, उप-शीषŊ, शीषŊ और अȯाय

का है;

(ख) सीमा शुʋ टैįरफ अिधिनयम, 1975 (1975 का 51) की पहली अनुसूची की धारा और अȯाय नोट्स

और पहली अनुसूची के सामाɊ ʩाƥाȏक नोट्स सिहत ʩाƥा के िनयम, जहां तक हो सके, इस

अिधसूचना की ʩाƥा पर लागू होंगे;

(ग) इस अिधसूचना मŐ Ůयुƅ और पįरभािषत नहीं िकए गए, िकȶु केȾीय माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम,

2017 (2017 का 12), एकीकृत माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017 का 13) और संघ राǛƗेũ माल

और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017 का 14) मŐ पįरभािषत शɨों और पदों का वही अथŊ होगा जो उन

अिधिनयमों मŐ उɎŐ सौंपा गया है।

2. यह अिधसूचना 22 िसतɾर, 2025 से लागू मानी जाएगी।
