JSERC (Electricity Supply Code) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025

Notification No.118--In exercise of power conferred by Clause (x) of

sub-section (2) of Section 181 read with Section 50 of the Electricity Act 2003

(36 of 2003) and all power enabling it in that behalf, the Jharkhand State

Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the third amendment in

Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code),

Regulations, 2015 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Principal Regulations’).

Short Title and Commencement

1.1.

These Regulations may be called the JSERC (Electricity Supply Code)

(Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025.

1.2.

These Regulations shall extend to the State of Jharkhand.

1.3.

These Regulations shall come into force from April 01, 2026 after its

publication in the official gazette of the Government of Jharkhand unless

reviewed earlier or extended by the Commission.

1. Amendment in clause 4.5 under Chapter A4: System of Supply

In the Principal Regulations, under chapter A4 clause 4.5 shall be

replaced as under:

“4.5 Consumers connected at 33 kV and higher voltage level will be

eligible for voltage rebate as determined by the Commission from time to

time.”
