JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/Gross
Metering) (Seventh Amendment) Regulations, 2026
Notification No. 125--In order to promote generation of Renewable
Energy in the State of Jharkhand, the Commission in exercise of powers
conferred upon it under Section 181(1), read with Section 61(h), and
86(1)(a), (b) and (e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all other
powers enabling in it on that behalf, the Jharkhand State Electricity
Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following Regulations to amend
the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV GridInteractive Systems and Net/Gross
Metering) Regulations, 2015 and its amendments thereof(hereinafter
referred to as the ‘Principal Regulations’).
1. Short Title and Commencement
1.1.
These Regulations may be called the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV
Grid Interactive System and Net/ Gross Metering) (Seventh
Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
1.2.
These Regulations shall extend to the State of Jharkhand.

1.3.
These Regulations shall come into force from the date of their
publication in the Government of Jharkhand gazette unless
reviewed earlier or extended by the Commission.
2. Amendment to Annexure-II: Fee structure
The above Clause of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
“APPLICATION FEES

Above 50 kW and up to 1 MWp
Rs. 750

Above 1 MWp and up to 2 MWp
Rs. 1500
The amount of application fee for eligible consumer and third party
ownerother than the owner of the premises shall be the amount
mentioned above.
