Notification No.- 17/2025 – State Tax(Rate)

S.O. No. 58, Dated 5^th May, 2026--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5)

of section 9 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of

Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further

amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand, in the Commercial Taxes

Department, No.17/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of

Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 47, dated the 29^th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, after clause (iv), the following clause shall be inserted,

namely:-

“(v) Services by way of local delivery where the person

supplying such services through electronic commerce operator is

liable for registration under sub section (1) of section 22 of the

Jharkhand Goods and Services Act, 2017.

This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 22^th day of September, 2025.

Note: The principal notification No. 17/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29^th June, 2017 was

published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 47, dated the 29^th June, 2017

and was last amended by notification No. 08/2025- State Tax (Rate), dated 9^th July, 2025 published

in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 40, dated the 9^th July, 2025.

अिधसूचना संo. 17/2025- रा̕ य कर (दर)

एस. ओ. सं. 58, िदनांक 5 मई, 2026- -झारखǷ माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017 का

12) की धारा 9 की उपधारा (5) Ȫारा Ůदȅ शİƅयों का Ůयोग करते Šए, झारखǷ सरकार, पįरषद की

िसफाįरशों पर, Ȫारा झारखǷ सरकार, वािणǛ-कर िवभाग की अिधसूचना संƥा 17/2017 - राǛ कर

(दर), िदनांक 29 जून, 2017, िजसे एस. ओ. सं. 47, िदनांक 29 जून, 2017 के तहत झारखǷ के राजपũ,

असाधारण, मŐ Ůकािशत िकया गया था, मŐ िनɻिलİखत संशोधन करती है, अथाŊत्:-

उƅ अिधसूचना मŐ, खंड (iv) के पʮात् िनɻिलİखत खंड अंतः̾थािपत िकया जाएगा, अथाŊत्:-

“(v) ̾थानीय िडलीवरी देने के ŝप मŐ सेवाएं िसवाय वहां जहां इलेƃŌॉिनक वािणİǛक Ůचालक के माȯम से

ऐसी सेवाओं की पूितŊ करने वाला ʩİƅ झारखǷ माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 की धारा 22 की

उपधारा (1) के तहत पंजीकरण के िलए उȅरदायी है ।" ।

2. यह अिधसूचना िदनांक 22 िसतंबर, 2025 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।
