NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 3, 4 read with Section 9, 349

and 355 of The Karnataka Municipalities Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor,

hereby includes the adjacent Survey Numbered Areas into existing Town Panchayat

Area of Kundagola, Dharwad District as mentioned in Schedule ‘A’ along with

boundaries mentioned in Schedule ‘B’ into the existing ‘Town Panchayat Area’ of

Kundagola having regards to:

a) Such area contains a population of not less than ten thousand but less than

twenty thousand;

b) The density of population in such area is not less than four hundred

inhabitants to one square kilometer of area;

c) The percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities is not less than

fifty percent of the total employment.

The Notification is hereby published for the information of the Public. All

persons, who would like to file any objection/suggestion to this Notification are hereby

required to submit the same with reasons in writing to the Director, Directorate of
