NOTIFICATION

Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Agriculture Services (Cadre and

Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2022, was published as required by sub-section

(1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Service Act, 1978

(Karnataka

in

Notification

No:

AGRI-32/ANE/2021,

dated: 28-10-2022 in Part IV-A vide No.542 of Karnataka Extraordinary Gazette

dated: 28-10-2022 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be

affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of publication of the draft in the

Official Gazette.

Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to public on 28-10-2022.

And whereas the objections and suggestions received have been considered

by the State Government.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978

(Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government hereby makes the following rules,

namely;

RULES

1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka

Agriculture Services (Cadre and Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the

Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule.- In the Karnataka Agriculture Services

(Recruitment) Rules, 2021 in the schedule,-

(1) before the entries relating to the category of post of “Commissioner for

Agriculture”, at serial no. 1 the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(a) after the category of post of “Director of Agriculture”, at serial no. 1,
