NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 3, 4 read with Section 9, 349 and
355 of The Karnataka Municipalities Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor, hereby includes
the adjacent Survey Numbered Areas into existing Town Panchayat Area of Yallapur, Uttara
Kannada District as mentioned in Schedule ‘A’ along with boundaries mentioned in Schedule
‘B’ into the existing ‘Town Panchayat Area’ of Yallapur having regards to:
a) Such area contains a population of not less than ten thousand but less than twenty
thousand;
b) The density of population in such area is not less than four hundred inhabitants to one
square kilometer of area;
c) The percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities is not less than fifty
percent of the total employment.
The Notification is hereby published for the information of the Public. All persons,
who would like to file any objection/suggestion to this Notification are hereby required to
submit the same with reasons in writing to the Director, Directorate of Municipal
Administration, 9th Floor, V.V.Tower, Bengaluru within 30 days from the publication of this
Notification in the Official Gazette. Further, Notification will be taken up for final
consideration after the said 30 days’ period.

The revised boundary of the Yallapur Town Panchayat begins from north-west corner of Part
“A” at Survey No.57 in the Yallapur Village and runs through the northern boundary of Survey
No.57 to the north-east corner of the same Survey No.57. Then the same survey no.
Continuing from south boundry along the eastern boundary of 57, heading southwest, it
meets the corner of the southern end of Survey No.57. Then from the south direction of
Survey No.58A1 from Yallapur Village crosses through the Ankola-Gooty National Highway
(No: -63) and runs north-east along the northern boundary of the Survey No.58A1, which is
located on the same Survey No.58A1. The same survey no. then moves southwards along
the eastern boundary of Survey No. 58A1 and meets the north-west corner of Survey No.103
of Sahasrali Village. Then the same boundary runs along the northern boundary of Survey
No.103 and meets the corner of the western end of Survey No.118 of the Yallapur village. It
then crosses the western boundary of Survey No.112A1 of the Yallapur Village and the
Survey No.120 of the Yallapur Village. This is followed by the east boundary of Survey No.
120, facing the southeast corner of the Survey No.119 of the Yallapur Village. Continuing
along the northern boundary of Survey No.112A1 of the Yallapur Village and Survey No.147
of the Yallapur Village, it meets the northeast corner of Survey No.112A1. It then crosses the
Karwar-Ilakkal State Highway (No: -6), heading southwest along the eastern boundary of
Surevey No.121A1 and meets the southeast corner of the same survey No.112A1. It then
runs westwards along the southern boundary of Survey No.112A1 and Yallapur Village
Survey No.123 and crosses the stream to the southeast corner of Sahasrali Village Survey
No.93. It then moves westward along the southern boundary of Survey No.93 and Survey
No.94 of the Sahasrali Village and meets the north-east corner of Sahasrali Village Survey
No.109. The same survey then moves to the south-east corner of the Survey No.109B14 and
the Sahasrali Village Survey No.109B18, 98, 99 100 and 101. It then merges with Yallapur
Village Survey No. 68 (part) and Yallapur Village Survey No. 74, 75 and 85, facing the eastern
boundary. Continuing and crossing the village and heading towards south-west along the
southern boundary of the same village, crossing the Talaguppa-Khanapur State Highway
(No: -93) along the stream proceeding towards the south-west direction of Yallapur village,
then runs southwards along the corner of eastern boundary of the same survey No. 68 (part).
Then meets the north-east corner of Survey No. 88,. The same survey no. then moves south

along the eastern boundary of No. 88 to the north-east corner of Survey No. 89, Yallapur
Village. Similarly, Survey No. 89 of the Yallapur Village faces the south-western boundary of
the Yallapur Village. The survey no. then merges into the south-west corner of Survey No.
91, continuing along the south-west boundary and continuing north-west. Continuing along
the southern boundary of Survey No. 68 (part) of the Yallapur Village, it meets the south-
east corner of Yallapur Village Survey No. 93. The survey then merges into the south-west
corner of Survey No. 93, moving westward along the southern boundary of Survey No. 93,
then continuing westward. Continuing along the southern boundary of Yallapur Village
Survey No.94 and Yallapur Village Survey No.141, it meets the south-west corner of Survey
No.141. Survey No.141 and Yallapur Village Survey No.96 to the southern boundary point of
Yallapur Village Survey No.68 (part). It then moves westward along the southern boundary
of Survey No. 68 (part) and meets the eastern boundary of Survey No.97 of Yallapur Village.
The survey No. then merges into the south-east corner of Survey No. 97, moving towards
south boundary and along the eastern boundary of No.97. The same survey then moves
westward along the southern boundary of No.97, then continues westward along the
western boundary and meets the southern boundary of Survey No.98, Yallapur Village. Then
the same survey runs westward along the southern boundary of No.98, then continues
westward along the western boundary. It then runs westward through the village boundary
and meets the eastern boundary of Survey No. 15, Sabageri Village. The same survey then
moves south along the eastern boundary of No. 15, then continues westward through the
southern boundary to the northeast corner of Survey No. 37 in Sabageri village. It then meets
the southwest corner of Survey No. 37, moving south along the eastern boundary of Survey
No. 37, and then moving west along the southern boundary of Survey No. 37. Moving
further, along Sabagari Survey No.16 meets the northeast corner of the village. The survey
then meets the southwest corner of Survey No. 16, moving south along the eastern boundary
of Survey No. 16 and moving westward along the southern boundary of Survey No. 16. It
then moves westward along the western boundary of Survey No. 16, then continues
westward along the road to the south boundary of Survey No. 18 and 17 of Sabageri Village,
which meets the southwest corner of Survey No. 17. Then move northwards along the

Village. The same survey no. then moved northwards along the western boundary of Survey
No. 19A and continued westward to the southeast corner of Survey No. 20 in Sabageri
village. It then runs westwards along the southern boundary of Survey No. 26A1A1A from
Sabageri Village and meets the northeast corner of Survey No.53A of the Hittakaragadde
village crossing the district main road of Tatagar-Hutakamane. The same survey then crosses
the southern boundary of the No.53A and meets the northeast corner of Survey No.52 in
the village of Hithlakaragadde. Subsequently, the same Survey No.52 and the Survey of
Hitlakkaragadde Village will move southwards along the eastern boundary of No. 51, 50 and
49. The Survey of the Hittakaragadde Village will be bounded on the eastern boundary of
No.108A. The same survey then proceeded southwards along the eastern boundary of
No.108A, crossing the Hitlakaragadde-Magod District Main Road and passing it on the
western boundary of the Hittakaragadde-Magod District Main Road. Moving northwards
through the western boundary of the National Highyway Ankola-Gooty No: -63) meets the
southern corner of the Survey No.58 of the Balagimane Village. It then moves westward from

the southern corner of Survey No.58 to Baligaimane Village Survey No. 56A1 and meets the
southeast corner of Survey No.56BE21. The same survey then moves to the southwest along
the southern boundary of No. 56BE21 and meets at the northeast corner of Survey No. 47,
Baligaimane Village. It then continued towards south boundary along the eastern boundary
of the same meets the southwest corner of survey no. No.56BE21. The same survey then
moves northwards along the western boundary of No.56B21 and meets the southern
boundary of Survey No. 50 of the Baligimane Village. The same survey then moves westward
along the southern boundary of survey No. 50 and meets at the southwest corner of Survey
No. 50. The survey then meets the northwest corner of Survey No. 50, heading northwest
along the western boundary. Then the same boundary runs along the northern boundary of
survey No. 50 and meets at the southwest corner of Survey No.51, Baligimane Village. It then
merges into the northwest corner of Survey No. 51. The same survey then merges with the
northern boundary of the No.56A1, moving towards the centre of the Baligimane Village.
According to the same survey, the Yallapur Village Survey meets the western boundary of
No. 4A1A1A1, moving northeastward along the northern boundary of No. 56A1. The same
survey No. then moves northwards along the western boundary of Survey No. 4A1A1A1,
crosses the district main road of the Tatagar-Hutakamane and meets the western end of
Survey No. 40 of the Yallapur village, crossing the western boundary of the same survey
No.4A1A1A1. It then crosses the northwest boundary of Survey No. 40 to the northeast
corner and meets the northeast corner of Survey No. 40. Continuing along the northern
boundary of the same Survey No. 4A1A1A1, it meets the southwest corner of Survey No. 39,
Yallapur Village. Then the same survey moves northwards along the western boundary of
No. 39 and meets at the southwest corner of Survey No.58A1 of the Yallapur village It then
moved northwards along the western boundary of Survey No.58A1 and crossed the village
road from Yellapur to Shistamudi and started on the northwest corner of Survey No.57,
which was started and will merge on the northwest corner of Survey No.57.
