In pursuance of the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Representation of the

People Act, 1951, I, M.K. Vishalakshi, Secretary, Karnataka Legislative Assembly and the

Returning Officer for the Bye-Election to the Karnataka Legislative Council by the Members of the

Karnataka Legislative Assembly to fill 01 (One) Casual Vacancy in the Karnataka Legislative

Council caused due to the reason of Sri Baburao Chinchansur, Member of Legislative Council,

resigned to his membership on 20.03.2023, before the expiration of his term of office which was upto

17.06.2024, hereby fix, with the previous approval of the Election Commission of India, the Room

No. 106, First Floor, Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru-560 233, as the place of poll at which a poll will

be taken in pursuance of the Election Commission’s Notification No.100/KT-LC/04/2023-MLA (1)

dated 13^th June, 2023.
