general information:-

NOTIFICATION

No. 155/KT-LC/2024 (2) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section

22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India

hereby appoints, in addition to the officers appointed vide its Notifications No. 155/KT-LC/2007 (2),

dated 27.09.2007, as amended from time to time, the following officer as specified in Column (2) of

the Table below, as Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer of the Council

Constituency in the State of Karnataka, specified in Column (1) of the said Table, in the performance

of functions of such Returning Officer :-

The above appointment of Assistant Returning Officer is for the purpose of counting of votes

in connection with the biennial election to the Karnataka Legislative Council from Bangalore

Graduates’ Constituency, notified vide Notification No. 322/KT-LC-G&T/2024, dated: 09^th May,

2024. The appointment of the aforementioned officer as Assistant Returning Officer shall cease to be

in force on completion of the current biennial election from the aforementioned Constituency.
