NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (2) and (3) of Article 166 of Constitution

of India, the Governor of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules further to amend the

Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules,1977, namely: -

Commencement:- (1)

These

rules

may

be

called

the

Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2024.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule II: - In the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business)

Rules, 1977, in SCHEDULE II, under the heading “ DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL

AND ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS”, under the sub-heading “A. Public Services”, in

serial number 6, after the words “District Superintendents of Police”, the words “and all

officers of the rank of Head of a Department” shall be inserted.
